Certified Well Driller or Constructor

Clatsop County requires proof of water quantity and potability when a well is used as a water source. (Clatsop County Standards Document Ordinance 80-14, Section S2.400 Water Improvement Standards) Certified well drillers and constructors provide proof of water quantity and potability that is acceptable to both the Oregon Water Resources Department and Clatsop County, using the “Water Well Form.” To locate a certified well driller or constructor, visit the Oregon Water Resources Department Website. From the home page, select “ground water,” then “Locate a Well Constructor.” Only certified well drillers and constructors from the Oregon Water Resources Department list may provide proof of water quantity and potability.
