Update of Comprehensive Plan Goals 16-18
Clatsop County has contracted with the Columbia River Estuary Study Taskforce (CREST) to update comprehensive plan Goals 16 (Estuarine Resources), 17 (Coastal Shorelands) and 18 (Beaches and Dunes). These goals have had minimal revisions since originally adopted in 1980. This page will be regularly updated with meeting notices/links, draft documents and other information related to the process. TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING #1
The first meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee will be held virtually from 9-11AM, Thursday, June 13. A link to the meeting and all meeting materials can be found here.
CREST staff will also be presenting to the Planning Commission on June 11. The Planning Commission meets virtually and in-person at the Boyington Building, 857 Commercial Street, Astoria. A link to the meeting and the agenda package can be found here.
PUBLIC MEETING #1
The first public meeting to discuss the process of updating Clatsop County Comprehensive Plan Goals 16 (Estuarine Resources), 17 (Coastal Shorelands) and 18 (Beaches and Dunes) will be held from 10AM-Noon, Saturday, April 20. The meeting will be held at the Judge Guy Boyington Building, 857 Commercial Street, Astoria. Information can also be found on the project website and on the Clatsop County calendar.
