About the District Attorney - Ron Brown

Ron Brown was elected Clatsop County District Attorney in 2018, after 14 years of service as Chief Deputy District Attorney.

Brown, a native of Klamath Falls, graduated from Oregon State University in 1976 and earned a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1979. He served in district attorney’s offices in Lane, Lincoln and Deschutes counties from 1979 to 1989, and pursued a private law practice in Bend until 1997, when he joined the Crook County District Attorney’s Office as Chief Deputy.
